The theme of the competition was "The City". My contribution calls attention to the many nationalities living in Fontenay-Sous-Bois, a suburb east of Paris. The various footprints symbolise a diverse population by representing countries of origin as well as some more personal characteristics, such as gender, age and personal style. The resulting composition communicates the energy, diversity, and harmony of city life. The poster was not selected.
