Hello!
My name is Nathanaël Hamon. I'm a graphic designer.
Background check: Born in France, my family moved to the U.S. when I was 10. Received a B.A. in Art History but quickly changed direction and started working in graphic design. I've been living in Berlin since 2000.
Why Slang? As a language, slang shares characteristics with my approach and sensibility: fresh, playful and constantly reinventing itself. Slang is a vivid and informal language, heartfelt and true to particular groups of people.
So far... Lots of posters, record and cd covers, books, typefaces, illustration; mainly for music and arts & culture. I was art director at M&C Saatchi Berlin from 2005 to 2006; been working out of my own studio since then. My work can also be seen in many books, magazines and on walls.
